
Vipul Siddharth leads Open Source at the UNICEF Office of Innovation, where he helps shape open source strategy, guides Venture Fund startups, and works hands-on with policy, licensing, and Digital Public Goods standards. His work includes national open source policy with governments, DPG academia programs with universities, and sustaining Humanitarian FOSS ecosystems.
Over a decade in the open source ecosystem, he has worn many hats: developer, QA engineer, governance lead, DEI advocate. Today he focuses on making open systems that last, stay accessible, and serve real needs.
