Thomas Hughes

Tom Hughes is the Community Manager for the Carnegie Mellon University Open Source Programs Office. In his work at the OSPO, he works across campus with faculty staff, and students to support their interests and work in open source, build community connections and foster connections beyond the university. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon's Heinz College, he has more than 15 years of experience supporting creative, technical, and interdisciplinary projects. Previously, he was the Associate Director of the Carnegie Mellon Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry and a Program Manager at experiential design firm Deeplocal.
