Thierno Ousmane Ba

Mr. Thierno Ousmane Ba, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and is particularly interested in how digital transformation is shaping development across Africa. He previously worked within the United Nations system in Geneva, including at the International Labour Organization (ILO). He currently serves as a Junior Professional Officer (JPO), at the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies in New York, where he supports diplomatic engagement and multistakeholder collaboration. His work focuses on areas such as information integrity, data governance, Internet governance, and engagement with the Francophonie. He also contributes to initiatives related to the Global Digital Compact, the Digital Cooperation Portal, and the organization of town halls with civil society and private sector partners.
