
Rebekah Hayoung Woo is a Programme Management Officer at the United Nations Office for Digital and Emerging Technologies, where she works on global AI governance and digital cooperation. She supports key initiatives under the Global Digital Compact, including the Independent International Scientific Panel on AI, coordinating high-level expert processes and engagement with Member States, UN entities, and industry leaders.
Previously, she worked with UNESCO and UNICEF across headquarters, field offices, and national committees focusing on human rights and technology policy . Rebekah holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Yonsei University.
