Pamod Amarkoon

Pamod Amarakoon is coming from a combined medical, public health and informatics background and an expert in the design, implementation, and governance of open-source digital health and education information systems. He is a senior information systems expert in the global HISP network and the University of Oslo’s HISP Centre, contributing to the deployment and adaptation of DHIS2 and related digital public goods across low- and middle-income countries. His work focuses on strengthening national digital systems through sustainable open-source platforms, capacity building, interoperability, and sustainable country-led implementation.
