Naveen Varshan

Naveen Varshan is part of UNDP’s Digital, AI and Innovation Hub, where he helps countries design and implement digital public infrastructure, working with governments and national stakeholders to advance inclusive growth and systemic transformation. Over the course of his career, Naveen’s work has spanned Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean, shaping national approaches to public infrastructure and contributing to large-scale programs in education, urban development, healthcare, climate, and justice.

Naveen brings a multidisciplinary background with an undergraduate degree in engineering, postgraduate studies in human rights law and international development, and an MPA from Columbia University with a focus on economics, innovation, and design. He is a contributor to three published books on designing for societal scale change.
