Professor in the Dept. of Data Science, College of Computing at City University of Hong Kong. Professor Li’s research combines data science with aerospace engineering to improve the operations of complex systems and develop intelligent systems, particularly for air transportation systems, low-altitude economy, and industrial intelligence.

Included in Stanford's list of the World's Top 2% Scientists (2022 – 2024), Professor Li is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. She is a Senior Member of AIAA, IEEE, and INFORMS, where she chairs the Air Transportation Section. Her editorial roles include Associate Editor for Transportation Research Part C and board memberships for several other journals. She served on the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on Autonomous Mobility (2023–2024). She previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, Operations Practice, in the United States, and taught at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
