Lenka Jelínková Harantová

Lenka Jelínková Harantová is a senior customs transit expert at the General Directorate of Customs of the Czech Republic, with over 25 years of experience shaping international transit systems across the EU and beyond.
She currently serves as Chair of the TIR Executive Board (TIRExB), where she leads efforts to modernise and strengthen the global TIR system, bridging policy, operations, and technology to ensure efficient and secure cross-border transit.
Previously, at the European Commission (DG TAXUD), she contributed to the development and implementation of EU transit legislation and worked closely with Member States and international organisations, including UNECE.
She also plays a key role in the development and implementation of customs IT systems, actively engaging with customs authorities and private sector stakeholders to deliver practical, user-focused solutions.
