
Kanto Petri is Head of Unit in European Commission, DG TAXUD, Architecture andDigital Operations. She is responsible for the implementation of the core DigitalPolicies and Digital Architecture in the areas of Customs, Taxation and Climate withinDG TAXUD, including AI & Data management, Cloud and Network, Digital Identities forbusiness and large scale trans-European systems such as E-commerce, EU CustomsData Hub, CBAM etc.
She has led Trans-European systems for EU Common Transit(NCTS) and itsinteroperability with e-TIR, EU Exports, promoting collaboration with EU Member Stateson the digital transformation in Customs.
She has led Customs Risk Management and Control Systems in GR Ministry ofFinance and managed digital payment services for Customs and Taxation, incollaboration with the European Central Bank and EU banks.
She has been lecturer and researcher in Athens(GR) University of Computer Science inthe areas of Digital technologies and architecture.
