Hon. Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj

H.E. Mr. Ankhbayar Nyamdorj has been serving as the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations since July 2024.  

Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Ankhbayar Nyamdorj served as State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Throughout his diplomatic career, he has held several senior leadership positions within the Ministry, including Director-General of the Department of Public Administration and Management and Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs. He also served in key roles within the Department of International Law and Treaty, including its Human Rights Division. Earlier in his career, he served as Consul General of Mongolia in San Francisco, United States.  

Ambassador Nyamdorj holds a Master of Laws degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand and a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the National University of Mongolia.
