Fui Meng Liew is the Chief of the Digital Centre of Excellence (DCOE) in UNICEF’s Digital Impact Division, based in Nairobi. In this role, she leads UNICEF’s global digital transformation efforts, advancing the use of Digital Public Infrastructure, Digital Public Goods, and AI-enabled solutions to strengthen program delivery and improve outcomes for children worldwide.

Under her leadership, the DCOE provides strategic guidance, digital product management, and technical support to UNICEF offices across regions and countries. She oversees the governance, scaling, and sustainability of UNICEF’s flagship digital platforms, including RapidPro, Oky, and INFORM, ensuring they deliver impact at scale while remaining inclusive and sustainable.

Fui Meng also plays a key role in shaping UNICEF’s engagement in the global digital ecosystem, working closely with governments, multilateral organizations, and private sector partners to operationalize digital public infrastructure for social good. A strong advocate for capacity building, she has led initiatives to equip UNICEF teams and partners with the skills, tools, and knowledge needed to accelerate digital transformation in country programmes.

Since joining UNICEF in 2017, she has held senior roles bridging technology, partnerships, and business transformation, including leading the organization’s first global supporter engagement platform reaching over 100 million people.

Prior to UNICEF, she held leadership roles at Intel, Verizon, and WeWork, delivering large-scale digital products and infrastructure globally.

She holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an MBA, and brings nearly two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and impact.
