Ben Bertelsen

Ben is a Manager in UNDPs Digital, AI and Innovation Hub, based in Copenhagen.

He works on open-source in government and digital public infrastructure. Ben leads UNDP's work on open-source readiness assessments and is part of the team setting up two OSPOs in low- and middle-income countries, together with ITU and the European Commission. A core part of his work has been mapping and connecting open-source efforts across UNDP, from country-level deployments to global advocacy, and partnering with the Digital Public Goods Alliance on joint engagements.

Prior to UNDP, Ben spent most of his career as part of Deloitte's Government Digital Transformation practice, focusing on workflow automation, AI/ML adoption, and systems transformation. He holds an MSc in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School.
