Amreen Taneja

Amreen is a technical policy leader specializing in emerging technology standardization, open source, and AI for public good. She serves as Standards Lead at the Digital Public Goods Alliance, where she leads the global development and governance of the Digital Public Goods Standard, advancing the recognition of open source software, data, AI systems, and content as critical infrastructure for inclusive digital transformation. With over a decade of experience across the United Nations ecosystem, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Amreen has led initiatives at the intersection of technology, policy, and innovation to enable scalable and equitable digital impact. She is an international technology lawyer and holds an LL.M. from UC Berkeley School of Law, specializing in Technology Law and International Law.
