Alexandra van Huffelen

Alexandra van Huffelen (Leiden, July 1968) is President of the Executive Board of Radboud University. Her portfolio includes strategy, alumni, impact, and knowledge security. Previously she served as State Secretary for Kingdom relations and Digitalisation and as State Secretary for Finance, Benefits and Customs. Previous positions have included General Director of the Amsterdam Public Transport Company (GVB N.V.), Alderman for Sustainability, Inner City and Outdoor Space at the municipality of Rotterdam, and she also worked for Essent. Van Huffelen was a member of the Senate (D66) and a supervisor in the healthcare and culture sectors, among others. She is currently also party chair of D66 and chair of the board of the Bach Society's support foundation.
